A new video has been released that details the core mechanics of the free-to-play first person shooter, Dust 514. The Eve Online spinoff is set to launch as a PS3 exclusive later this year.
The game, which developer CCP Games has promised will not be “pay-to-win,” will feature a slew of options at the player’s disposal. Not surprisingly, your characters aesthetics will be highly customizable (presumably to encourage players to pay real money to stand out on the battlefield, similar to Team Fortress 2′s current model).
Dust 514 features a heavy overlap with the Eve Online universe and the developer hopes that the relationships between players of both games will strengthen over time. Check out the trailer below.
