Dark Souls II Coming to PS4 and Xbox One in April!

Namco have announced that Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (aka Dark Souls 2 GOTY ed) Will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC ,Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on 3rd April in Europe and Australasia and on 7th in North America.

This new version of Dark Souls II will include the original game plus The Lost Crowns Trilogy DLC as well as several other additional features and enhancements including additional in-game events and NPCs, improvements to game’s balanced and improved item descriptions.

In addition to the above  the PS4, Xbox One and PC (DX11) versions of the game will also feature further improvements to graphics,sounds and performance. (Or more grass, louder screams and hopefully 60fps)

And that’s not all, In a rather decent gesture from Bandai Namco existing Dark Souls II owners will receive all the new tweaks and extras, minus the DLC, for free via a patch in the near future. There has currently been no word on whether this will include the graphical overhaul in the PC version Or whether save files will be transferable between old and new gen versions  of the game.
